Cacti in San Diego, California (January 27, 2007)

	My friend Judy and I spent some time at Ocean Beach in San Diego and as we were walking back to our car, we noticed a front lawn with many cacti! :)
	The top three photos on this page are all variations of the prickly pear.

Cabrillo National Monument

Later in the afternoon, we visited Cabrillo National Monument, situated at the end of a peninsula with grand views of the city of San Diego, the bay and the Pacific Ocean. Adjacent is a photo of a prickly pear with the Cabrillo statue in the background.
