June 20, 2006 - I was out and about taking my photo of the day for
my Mt. Princeton web site, and I noticed
many wild prickly pear cacti growing throughout the terrain. So many were in bloom!
Such pretty flowers on those blooms!
Colorado is obviously more known for its mountains, but there are cacti here if you keep an eye out.
A very beautiful yellow bloom.
This is my favorite photo. It kind of looks like a lizard,
with the way it seems to be growing horizontally along the ground! :)
